Planning a Wedding? Want to create your own theme and don't know where to begin?

Come to our Wedding Workshop by Ann Smith of Craftsmith. Experienced in designing for small weddings to as large as 1000 guests, Ann has specialised as a Party Planner and designer of wedding themes for several years. She is also working with various manufacturers on new design ranges.

All her business to date has been gained by recommendation and through her workshops Ann will share some of her expertise.

Workshops run for a full day from 09:45 till 16:00, in Pleasley, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

All workshops include a full days tuition and guidance, lunch, tea and coffee, materials and handouts. The workshop will give an overview on where to begin when creating your own stationery. It will cover card types and papers that can be used and will give you some wording ideas. It will also offer advice about what to consider when creating your own wedding stationery or planning your wedding in general.

Basic techniques and demonstrations for making your own designs will be covered including creating your own card shapes and sizes, making your own embellishments, assembling your cards, adding professional finishing touches and creating your own inserts. You will also be given a list of useful contacts and suppliers and a list of useful basic equipment and resources.

A range of 6 separate 2 hour classes are available, each class covering specific topics and techniques in more depth. These are ideal for experienced crafters or beginners who have attended the initial Wedding Workshop. Any of the 6 classes can be booked on its own or in any combination. You can opt to book all 6 classes as a block booking if desired.
